1x S500 Large format configurable control surface including 1x Tempest Engine.
S500 control surface takes a modular approach. It offers a range of touchscreen and hardware tiles that can be combined with an optional meter bridge, within a collection of console frames to create a completely scaleable control system.
1x Furniture Fader and Master Tiles
Integrated System T control interface options. Flexible, adaptable and scalable. System T Furniture Fader and Master Tiles allow extremely flexible and adaptable configurations. Used in conjunction with Tempest Control App they provide dedicated hands-on control for solutions built into custom furniture. Additionally, any System T Furniture Fader Tile, Master Tile and/or computer running TCA software can be combined within a single system along with main control surface(s), providing custom solutions to fit any application or environment. For example, a main control surface and two additional remote Furniture Fader Tiles can be connected to a single Tempest Engine.
10x NET I/O A16.D16
A versatile combination of mic/line and digital I/O - The A16.D16 provides a combination of SSL SuperAnalogue™ and AES3 digital I/O to Dante, AES 67 based IP networks. A16.D16 includes redundant network connections* and PSUs. It features 16 line inputs - four of which also have switchable mic circuits, 16 line outputs and 16 digital I/O in 8 AES3 pairs. There are four GPIO.
3x NET I/O SB 32:24
5U ruggedised enclosure featuring dual redundant power supplies, 32 mic/line inputs, 16 analogue line outputs and 8 digital inputs and outputs on 4 AES3 input/output pairs. It has a pair of redundant RJ45 Dante network connections in addition to a user configurable SFP port that can be fitted with RJ45 or optical connectors. These can be used for network extension or to provide network separation for the gaincompensated Dante “split”, for connection to a second Dante-equipped console or appropriately equipped device on a different network. It has individual signal present, clip and phantom power LED’s as well as global indication of PSU, Network A and B and Hardware status.
2x NET I/O SB8.8
2RU units. The SB 8.8 offers eight mic/line inputs and eight line level outputs. Featuring a pair of redundant RJ45 Dante network connections, a pair of network extension connections, GPIO connectivity and redundant PSU’s. They have individual signal present, phantom power and local attention LEDs to provide intuitive front panel feedback, inbuilt limiters and SSL’s innovative AutoPad system that automatically applies a Pad according to gain setting. The AutoPad is applied if the gain is set at a low value that would require a pad to achieve making the entire possible mic gain range seamlessly available at all times. An Audition feature provides an automatic gain reduction when checking mic levels, greatly simplifying pre show mic checks for operators of any skill level.
1x NET I/O SDI
Bidirectional bridging between embedded SDI Audio, your IP network and MADI. SDI has eight circuits, each capable of Embedding and De-Embedding, and the unit has dual Dante and triple MADI connectivity (2 x optical, 1 x coax I/O). In addition to SDI-Dante bridging SDI allows direct bridging between SDI and MADI infrastructure. Internal channel-by-channel routing enables flexible routing between all three domains. As you would expect redundant PSUs provide reassurance in a 24hr Broadcast environment.
1x NET I/O AES
AES to Dante and MADI conversion whenever you need it: Network I/O AES provides 32 Pairs of AES3 audio I/O connectivity to redundant Dante network connections. AES to Dante and MADI Conversion Whenever You Need it. Network I/O AES provides 32 Pairs of AES3 audio I/O connectivity to redundant Dante network connections. Sample Rate Convertors allow seamless integration of unlocked AES3 sources. As with all Network I/O products redundant PSUs and Dante connections complete the broadcast specification. Additional coax and dual optical MADI connection, along with internal channel by channel routing provide additional format conversion options.
1x MADI BRIDGE
MADI-Bridge - MADI to Dante Interface. The SSL Network I/O: MADI-Bridge enables bi-directional format conversion between the industry standard MADI audio format and IP audio network's using Dante. The Bridge can be used with any standard MADI device, including L300 and L500 consoles. The MADI-Bridge also offers bi-directional sample rate conversion between any asynchronous sample rates, from 44.1kHz to 192kHz and the ability to have independent clock domains between the two audio formats. With Dante committed to conform to AVB standards and AES67, the Bridge is also ready for future networked audio developments.
1x MADI Opti Coax
The SSL MADI Opti-Coax is a handy format converter box designed to convert up to 64 audio channels bi-directionally (64 in x 64 out; 32 channels @ 96 kHz) between the MADI Optical and MADI Coaxial formats. Its front panel is equipped with one set of MADI SC duplex optical input & output connectors and one set of MADI BNC coaxial input & output connectors. Conversion takes place in real time with no latency and no audio degradation. In addition to simple format conversion, a pair of MADI Opti-Coax units can be used to extend a MADI Coax connection by up to 1 km by utilising the MADI Optical format. MADI Opti-Coax is constructed from a rugged all metal case with non-slip rubber feet and is extremely simple to use, with a standard IEC C14 mains inlet for power. Up to three units can be housed side-by-side in a standard 19" rack. T-slots in either side of the unit provide further mounting options
